Janice Yvonne “Jan” Crump, 78, of the Middle River Community, passed away Friday evening, June 10, 2022, at her home. Born January 21, 1944, in Chillicothe, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Albert Ellsworth and Rosa Bell Bateson. She was the mother of the late Rosemarie “Sissy” Crump. She was a retired home healthcare worker and had worked at Tugalo Home Health and Stephens County Hospital. She was a member of the Gideons Auxiliary and Indian Creek Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband Robert Coleman Crump; daughter Robin Lee “Missy” Crump, Carnesville; sons, Thomas Allen “Peanut” Crump, Carnesville, Thimothy Brian Crump, Toccoa, and Terry Coleman Crump, Lavonia; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great- grandchild; sisters, Brenda Hammond and Linda Redmon, both of Chillicothe, Ohio. Services will be Monday morning at 11am at B D Ginn Memorial Chapel with Rev. Britt Ginn and Rev. Tommy Childress. Interment with Rev, Nate Bunner will be at Broad River Baptist Church.
