Barbara S. Martin, 76, of Chillicothe, passed away at 8:22 p.m. Monday, April 20, 2020 at Adena Regional Medical Center.

     She was born October 5, 1943, in Ross County to the late Melvin and Ethel Barnhart Dawson. 

     Surviving are a son, Steve (Crystal) Russell, of Chillicothe; grandchildren, Brittany and Josh Russell; great-grandchildren, Adalynn Russell and Micalynn Starling; two sisters, Mary (James) Steele, of Chillicothe and Janet (Jr.) Hedges, of Logan.  She was predeceased by a daughter, Veronica Russell; granddaughter, Bobbi Jo Starling; brothers, Ralph and Jimmy Dawson; a sister, Sara Cochenour and companion, Ron Vest.

     There will be no funeral service or calling hours.  Arrangements are under the direction of the WARE FUNERAL HOME. 

     In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the Ware Funeral Home, 121 W. Second St., Chillicothe, OH 45601.
