O. Shea Riley, Jr., 66, of Union City died February 19, 2010, at Baptist Memorial Hospital, Union City, TN.

Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at White-Ranson Funeral Home, with the Revs. Tommy Jowers and Kenny Locke officiating. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 this evening at the funeral home.

Pallbearers will be John Warner, Mike Holman, Richard Davidson, Edwin Davis, Charles Cowell, Chris Tidwell, Mike Medlin, Dr. Jerry Sullivan and Dan Weber. Honorary pallbearers will be members of Union City Rotary Club.

The family requests that memorials be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in Memphis, Troop 55 Boy Scouts of America in Union City, the U.S. Marine Corps Toys for Tots Program or the charity of the donor's choice.

He was born October 17, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, son of the late Thelma (Kitchen) and O Shea Riley, Sr. He married the former Diane Wells October 22, 1963. She survives. He graduated from Chillicothe (Ohio) High School in 1962 and received a bachelor of science degree in real estate from Ohio State University in 1966. In 1968, he and his father moved to Union City to open Shea Riley Real Estate.

He was a member of Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church and Union City Rotary Club and had been a member of Union City Jaycees. He had been named a Realtor Emeritus and was recognized as an avid supporter of Scouting.

He is also survived by two sons and his daughter-in-law, O. Shea Riley III and Donna Riley and William Heath Riley, all of Union City; three grandchildren, Lance Cpl. Ian Riley, who is serving with the U.S. Marine Corps in Hawaii, Sarah Riley and Will Shea Riley, both of Union City; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
