Anita M. “Ann” Steinbrook, 72, of Chillicothe, died 3 p.m. Saturday, November 28, 2015 at her residence following an extended illness.
Ann was born November 26, 1943, in Chillicothe, to the late Samuel and Bertha Rutter Swift. On March 20, 1982, she married Larry E. Steinbrook, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Scott Miner, of Middleburg, FL, Lynn (Paul Tackett) Miner, of Chillicothe, Brian E. (Robin) Steinbrook, of Chillicothe and Dr. Seth L. Steinbrook, of Chandler, AZ; several grandchildren; a sister, Patty Barnhart, of Chillicothe; a half-brother, Greg Rutter, of Chillicothe; several nieces and nephews; a sister-in-law, Barbara (Jim) Garrison, of Frankfort; special friends, Mary and Don Morris, of Chillicothe; and her beloved pet, Rusty.
Ann retired from the Mead Corporation where she had worked for 19 years. She was presently employed at the Frontier Community Services where she had worked for the last 15 years.
Her family would like to thank Adena Cancer Center and Adena Hospice for their kindness and care Ann received.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 2, 2015 in the WARE FUNERAL HOME with Rodney Dilley officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at the Ware Funeral Home from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
