Robert "Bob" James Walsh

December 19, 1943 - November 14, 2018

Robert J. Walsh, age 74, of West Chester, Ohio passed away peacefully

Tuesday, November 13, 2018. He was born Sunday, December 19, 1943 in

West Lafaytte, Indiana to Harry E. And Dorthea R. (Blakney) Walsh.

Bob was an avid reader, family man with a witty sense of humor, friend to

all he met, world traveler, advocate to children with learning disabilities,

and #1 fan of his grandchildren's endeavors. He will be remembered as the

world's greatest husband, brother, dad, papa, beloved uncle, and cousin.

Bob was preceded in death by: parents, Harry and Dorthea Walsh; brothers

Richard Walsh, and mother-in-law, Jean Padilla.

Bob is survived by his wife of fifty-two years, Maryann (nee Kauffman)

Walsh; children, M. Craig (Melissa) Walsh, J. Eric (Tracie) Walsh, and

Jennifer (Patrick) Piccioni; grandchildren, Hayley Walsh, Sydney Walsh,

Ryan Frost, Patrick Piccioni, and Kaytlyn Piccioni; siblings, Judy Stauffer,

John Patrick Walsh, and Linda (Dwayne) Walsh; and many other loving

family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 19, 2018 from 12:00 PM until

time of Memorial Mass at 1:00 PM at St. John the Evangelist Church, 9080

Cincinnati Dayton Road West Chester, Ohio 45069.

In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to be made to the

Robert Walsh, Exceptional Student Scholarship Fund. If you are interested

in donating, envelopes will be available at the service on Monday or you

can reach out to family to be added to the information list. Once the trust is

set up, information and donation cards will be sent out.

Family is in the care of Mueller Funeral Home.
