Thomas A. Raines, 39, of Chillicothe, died at his residence unexpectedly.

Funeral services will be held 1 p.m. Friday, October 3, 2008 in the Ware Funeral Home with Rev. Sammie Cooper officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Friends may call at Ware's from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Thomas was born July 14, 1969, in Chillicothe, to William B. and Anne E. McMahon Raines, of Chillicothe, both who survive. On January 7, 2000, he married the former Jennifer Campbell who survives.

Also surviving are daughters, Emily and Molly Raines, both of Chillicothe; step sons, Zachary Yates, of Chillicothe and Joshua Yates, of Bourneville; a granddaughter, Lilly Vest, of Chillicothe; brothers, William C. "Chris" (Starlet) Raines, of Dayton and Jonathan "Barry" (Angel) Raines, of Chillicothe; and many nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

Thomas attended Storms Chapel Christian Union Church and was a skilled craftsman.
