William "Todd" Atwell, 41, of 2005 Hwy 152 W., China Grove, died Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at Rowan Regional Medical Center from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Todd was born Jan. 24, 1968. in Cabarrus County. He was the son of William Earl Atwell and Sylvia Freeze Atwell of China Grove.

Todd was a 1986 graduate of South Rowan High School. He was employed at J&J Construction. He was an avid outdoorsman, loving hunting and fishing. He dearly loved his wife and children, especially his grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife, Crystal Davis Atwell of the home; daughters, Carrie Jo Atwell, Harley Anna Atwell; son, Darryl Liston Atwell all of the home; grandchildren, Emma Grace Goodman and Addison Hope Atwell; brother, Rodney Atwell of China Grove; and sister, Kimberly Atwell, of China Grove.
