[From Cooper Funeral Home]

In humble sudmission to the will of God, we respectfully announce the earthloy transition of Mr. Timothy Lamar Massaline on February 8, 2023 in the comfort of his home. He was 60 years old and a life-long native of Washington County, Florida.

Affectionately called Trim by family and friends, was the last gift born to Leroy and Mary Katherine Massaline. He was the baby, child number 14, born on September 20, 1962. Trim was called the special child because he was the only one born in a hospital facility.

Trim was educated in the public school system of Washington County and attended Roulhac High School of Chipley, Florida. He worked for Anderson Columbia Asphalt Plant for a number of years.

Everyone who knew Trim, knew that he was a very outgoing person. He never met a stranger. Trim was an adventurer. It was nothing for him to get in his car and hit the road. He named his cars like they were real people. Do you remember Trixie or Anna Mae? Anyone who knew Trim, knew that he could talk. He was a talker. The most important part of his life was his children and grandchildren. He loved each and every one of them deeply. He demonstrated that through his acts of love for each one. Trim was a strong and independent man who had the tenacity to endure any obstacle that he encountered. He showed tenacity and determination spirit during his illness.

So as you think of Trim, remember his laughter and the conversations you had with him. Remember his zest for life and the desire to see people the way they were, no matter what.

Trim was preceded in death by his parents: Leroy and Mary Katherine Massaline; two twin sisters: Queenal Jones and Emelle Massaline; two brothers: Israel Massaline Sr. and Matthew Massaline and a twin baby brother and sister that died after birth.
