I'm sorry that I didn't know about Jennifer's death until a couple of weeks ago. She was always funny and laughing. I hope the ones closest to her have found some kind of peace.
I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE GREAT TIMES WITH HER SHE WAS ALWAYS SO FUNNY. SHE WAS SO CRAZY, ALWAYS TRADING REPORT CARDS WITH ME, WEEKEND STAYOVERS , AND ALL THE GOOD TIMES. SHE WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN
The majority of my high school memories include Jennifer in some way. Even after graduation we still remained friends and through out the years until her death. Through my move to Florida, her 1st marriage, that divorce and then through her second marriage.......I was tremendously heartbroken when she died because we had gone a few months without talking or seeing one another. I often think back, if I had called or been in her life at that time.....would she still be on this earth??????
MY FAVORITE High school memories with Jennifer:
First time I got ISS......Stephanie wanted out of class, Jennifer forged the note and I signed a teacher's name. WE all spent ISS together. Cutting her hair and starting a new trend with the shorter styles. Sneaking out AND getting caught. Passing notes in class.
Whitesnake Concert. Going to Myrtle Beach with her family and taking her father's car out down there; Walking from MB Resort to the Pavillion via beach...probably 7-10 miles in the mid-of-night and having her mom come and get us. AQUA NET hairspray, Working at Country Cookin. ISS again, I am sure of it......
Parties at the CatHole, Dating friends from Shawsville High, (she's the one that got me hooked up with Gary Bahnken), sneaking into Round Meadow Country Club's pool and the police coming. Saying we were at each other's house spending the night, (this worked until we got caught), DUDE's burgers, Starlite on Sunday nights with wine coolers, going through town throwing water balloons out our sunroof's at cars at each other or spraying people with waterguns....(you go to jail for doing things like that these days)
This April will be the 10 year anniversary of her death and it still seems like yesterday when Tracie called me and gave me the news.
Oh man. I don't even know what to say. She was a great girl. She was always very bright. Smart. Sassy! Beautiful. Wish I could have been there for her. I'm sure we all feel that way.
