I remember the assembly, when Mitch and his band played Cheap Trick's Surrender...I thought he was the bomb!! He sounded just like a real rock star!! We went out to eat after that, and he was just so down to earth. I kept thinking, "Wow!! When I get older, I'll be able to tell everyone that I know a rock star!" What happened with him?
My greatest memories of Mitch, were of spending time with an awesome guy, we could laugh about nothing or something... Mitch was so cool, we would tease each other during class, I used call him, well, the best word that rhymed with his name (you know which "B" word), I was blessed in sharing laughs and good times with him. Sadly, I too felt a huge emptiness in my heart when I had learned of his passing, and as a former Trojanette that shared marching the slab together during our foot-steps, I certainly appreciate his band picture.
