Clifford C. "Cliff" Smith, 66, of Churubusco, passed away on November 26, 2020, at his residence.

Born in Columbia City, on March 7, 1954, to the late Donald R. and Margaret (Hutsell) Smith.

Cliff graduated from the Police Academy in 1979. He worked at the Churubusco Police Department untill he was promoted to Town Marshall from 1982-86, he was with the department for 26 years.

His hobbies were riding his motorcycle, collecting guns and tractors
He is survived by the love of his life Connie Eckert, three daughters Heather (Matthew) Noyes, Amanda (William) Wemmer and Kortney (Jake) Daly and one son Ryan (Alison) Eckert; eleven grandchildren, Marisa Noyes, Derek (Brytne) Noyes, Ashley, Samantha, Rachel and Zachary Skinner, Cassie, Nicolas, Ben and Emma Eckert, Luke Daly, and one great grandchild Knox Noyes, one brother Brian (Katrina) Smith.

He was preceded in death by great granddaughter Wren Noyes, four brothers Stuart, Stan, Brad and Jerry Smith.

Calling will take place at Sheets and Childs Funeral Home 206 North Main Street Churubusco, IN 46723 on Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Private family service.

Per the family request, masks are required.

Burial will take place at Eel River Cemetery, at a later date.
