11/7/2017 (1:00 AM MST) Joyce messaged this morning informing me Kevin passed away He battled cancer over the last year. He was a friend to many of us throughout his childhood and beyond. Kevin and Joyce had two children they raised in Denver, CO. He has left a void in so many of our lives.

Today I lost a dear friend, teammate, and classmate. Kevin was one of those rare souls in your life you could always depend on when you needed him. We shared so many fond memories in high school ranging from 4 football and baseball seasons, senior prom, Friday and Saturday night events and just having fun each school day. Many of us dreamed as children to marry our high school sweetheart, or the girl next door, and live happily ever after. Well Kevin was one of the few people who did both (almost next door). It was inevitable Kevin and Joyce (Clark) would be partners in life and beyond. My heart aches from this loss, but am grateful Kevin had Joyce's strength to carry him through this epic challenge. Rest in peace my friend.
