Harry L. Beard, born on July 27, 1953, passed away on February 12, 2022, at the age of 68. Harry is the son of the late Harry R. and Janet L. Beard. Dad entered the gates of Heaven and was reunited with our Mom early on Saturday afternoon. He is loved by his devoted children; Shelley (Brian) Gilman, Melanie (Josiah) Simekha, Jeff (Kim) Beard, Cynthia (Matt) Wiseman and the late Christopher Beard. Loving Papaw to Grant (Rachel) and Nick Gilman, Amani and Neema Simekha, Olivia and Sophia Beard, Gretchen, Harrison, Weston, and Genevieve Wiseman and great grandchildren Elijah Gilman and one on the way. He is loved by his brothers; Jim Beard (Debi), David Beard (Donna), the late Jerry Bishop, Barry Bishop (the late Rebecca), his sisters; the late Linda Burwinkel (Jay), Jeanie Symmes (Danny) and Faye Acres (the late Lloyd), and so many other friends and family.
A public visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Glen Este, 1034 Old State Route 74, Batavia, OH on Friday, February 18th from 10:00 AM until the time of funeral service at 12:00 PM.

So sorry to hear about Harry. He was my accountant for years after high school. And accountant for years for my business untill he retired from it. It was weird that I struck up such a good relationship with him since he and Teressa tried to kick out my idea for our class song. I remember I found out about it and had a petion signed by most of the class to get it back. "Let It Be" Harry was a good guy, Great accountant,and always had a great inviting smile. .
