Milton was my best friend in high school. He and I went on a canoe trip leaving from Ely, Minnesota in the summer following our graduation from WHHS. In the fall, Milton entered a COOP Program at the UC College of Engineering and acquired a degree in Chemical Engineering in 1964. After graduation. Milton worked at the FMC Corporation, initially in Charleston, West Virginia, and later in New Jersey. I was his best man when he married his wife Freya. They had two children, a son Nick and a daughter, Jana. In fact, his daughter Jana, and my daughter Laura started at Drexel University together. My wife and I were able to spend some time with Milton and Freya after we dropped our children off at school for the start of their freshman year.

Milton, unfortunately, died at a young age from a glioblastoma of the brain.
