What is your favorite WHHS memory?

Denzil Carpenter once presented a trick math problem to our algebra class that had an anomaly in the solution and asked if anyone could explain it. No one else raised their hand so I responded with "Figures don't lie but liers can figure," he gave me a D in the class but ironically I got straight A's in all the rest of my math classes both at Walnut Hills and in University. Do you think that just maybe Denzil didn't like me? I am sure we will all have numerous other WHHS stories to tell at the upcoming reunion.

What would you like your classmates to know about your life?

Worked for 42 years in the Computer Hardware, Software, Computer Services and Telecommunications industries, 21 of them in the infamous Silicon Valley and San Francisco, California, 5 of them in Minneapolis, 6 in Phoenix and the balance, 10 years, in the UK, Belgium and France. Currently living between Paris and Bouzigues (www.bouzigues.fr), France with my wife of 18 years whom I met in Phoenix. I have two delightful, and of course exceptionally beautiful, granddaughters living with their parents in Atlanta.

Lou Ann, sorry to hear about Jim, his brother Tom and I were pretty close friends during our days at WHHS and as with so many high school friends we drifted apart. I hope to see you and Tom at the upcoming 60 year reunion. Reed Eller
