For many years I have noticed that "Mary Lippert" was listed, but no information was included. It took me until our 75th birthday year to do anything about that, but finally here I am. "Mary Lippert" was actually Mary Jane Lippert, but we all called her Janie. She was a wonderful friend with a sense of adventure and knew how to have a good time. Janie was generous with her time and helped anyone in need. She was also an excellent student who went to Randoph Macon after graduation from Walnut Hills. She came back to Cincinnati after her sophomore year and finished her degree at UC. She and I were TriDelts together along with Carol Nations Schaber and, just like Walnut Hills, we had a great time.
After graduation from college, Janie went to New York to work in the world of finance. She returned once again to Cincinnati in order to help out her family. She was in her forties when she became ill and died - still so young and adventurous.
I have missed Janie all these years and expect that she would have been looking for the next adventure, maybe even something big for our 75th birthday year!
