Woods Story:
I believe that it was an honor to have been able to interact with Steve. Steve's door was always open beginning at 6am for any trainee that needed him. I will never forget the good personal and professional advice that he gave me. He always says that I avoided him, but it is because I respect his position and value his time. I think that he is truly one of the last great mentors left. Although I didn't get to go up and talk to him as much as I would have liked, it was still comforting knowing that he was upstairs. He will be truly missed and I hope that there is another great mentor who has as much to offer waiting somewhere in the wings to grace us at UC.
