I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Susie Okrent.  I remember her as always smiling and someone full of good humor.  I knew Susie in her first marriage.  Her in-laws were close friends of my family.  Condolences to Susie's family and friends.  She was truly a good person.  By the way, if anyone remembers the "Cheerettes," her mother started this volunteer group for Sheltering Oaks, which was the Jewish Old Age home back in the 60's.

Oh Susie we lost touch but I know you remember what devils we were at Camp Livingston. One year we were invited to a friend's home in Piqua and her Dad had to call my Dad to come get us early in the visit. Oh we had potential but for sure we had fun! We lost touch but I hope your life was full of love and peace. I'll never forget you! Love ya! This is Jayme Solomon-Zissu, Susan's daughter.  Mike Adler gave me his account to log in under so I could read the comments.  Thank you so much for your condolences.  It means a lot to hear your thoughts.  She would often talk of Woodward and her time there.  Some of these stories are familiar and definitely some names.  She was an amazingly strong woman who raised her kids to be be equally strong.  Her favorite saying was can't never did anything which she said her Mom used to tell her.  Thanks again for the love and condolences.

I am so  sad thhhear about Susie's passing. We were close friends for many years and were in each other's weddings. Although we lost touch, I never forgot her. I tried to find out where she was many times. I finally did,but unfortunately we never communicated.I will never forget our friendship and all the fun we had together. My condolences to her family.
