I am so sad to hear the news about Karen's passing.  Karen was a shining light, a wonderful person.  We were friends when I attended Bond Hill from kindergarten through third grade.  We remained friends through Brownies and Girl Scouts (Troop 525 I think) and I have many warm and fun memories of playing at her house.  My sympathies to her family.

So sorry to learn about Karen's passing. Karen was part of our car pool to Woodward, which gave me more time to spend with her on the way to school. I remember how excited she was when she got her driver's license; that was 56 years ago. Karen, we miss you.

How sad to see that Karen Oscherwitz has died! I lost touch with her after the early years of high school, really, and knew her mainly because her parents belonged to the same group as my parents, but the news of her passing has come with a shock. As others have said better than I can, she was always full of life. Truly, we are all growing old. May her memory be for a blessing.

When one of our beautiful precious flowers dies in our garden all of us feel the loss.

Karen your passing leaves a void in all of us.
