I remember Larry from Bond Hill School as well as Woodward High.  What a great guy!  How sad that he is gone.  May he rest in peace.

Larry had a rough life these last few years. May he rest in peace. Many may not know that he was the brother-in-law of Steve Lehrer.  My sympathy goes out to his wife Suzi, his sons and grandchildren.

Larry was a funny guy with a funny sense of humor. That's how I'll remember him. We were friends from elementary school. We lived a couple of blocks apart in a Bond Hill neighborhood rife with kids our age. Unfortunately, the last few years of Larry's life were lived out in a nursing home as he was a victim of early onset Alzheimer's. I made sure I visited him each time I was in Cincy. Each time I would find him in the lobby sitting with his Mother (who will soon be 100). She visited him EVERY day, even though you couldn't really have a conversation with him - just yes or no type questions, basically. But, he would get a smirk on his face that made it sem as though he was still lucid, and up to something mischievous per the Larry of old. We are at that age when stuff like this happens. It makes us question our own mortality. You never know when you could be next. Live your life to the fullest as tomorrow could be your last day. Stay healthy, my friends. I hope I don't have to read any more of these obits for a long time.

It's very easy to see how much Larry was liked my the number of class mates that have taken time to send their thoughts. Larry was that kind of special Guy.

I remember Larry as a wise caring outgoing guy with a contageous smile--he loved everybody.  We shared many deep discussions about life, and what we were learning about ourselves back then.  Larry shared one of my deeply held beliefs that, back then, every home came with children automatically. I am certain that God wasted no time putting Larry to work as the greeter to the newly arrived, passing out welcome packets and directing newcomers to in-processing--Larry is that type of guy!

Larry, God bless and keep 'em moving!  laugh
