Happy Birthday! Mine was yesterday. Didn't realize we were so close. Have a great day!
Happy Birthday! Hope you have a splendid say.
I'm living in Carson City NV, took up writing novels a few years back. Not selling many but enjoy the process. Love book signing opportunities to talk with readers.
Seldom make it back ti Cincy now that both parents have passed.
Best wishes for a great day! Andrea.
Lots pof living crammed into yours! Happy Birthday!
I have been to most major National Parks. Ant favorites?
Happy Birthday, Bob! I doubt that you ever knew my brother since he was 4 years behind us in school/graduating. He was active in the band I think. Douglas Keefe. Don't think I've ever mentioned that before!
Hope all is well. We've moved recently, but email and phone still the same. I don't think I have either of your contacts. I now have a great-granddaughter. And, as if that wasn't enough, I now live in a 4-generation household! My daughter is helping me, and her daughter and the 2 yr old came along as flotsam. It's busy, chaotic, sometimes hysterically funny watching all of us interact, and occasionally disturbing with all the things going on. Still in Carson City Nevada and writing. Books are published but mostly I think it is for my mental health.
Best wishes on this birthday. Mine comes up in May. Hope you and the family are well and enjoying life! Andrea
Time marches on! Happy Birthday! Mine is in May and I'll celebrate with family. Hope you do as well and have a great day/week/month/year!

Your comments about the WWII situations reminded me of my visit to the Japanese internment camp in Eastern California. The conditions were better than the terrible camps in Germany, and the people didn't get murdered, but still, they were a mix of US citizens and immigrants. Now we see potential citizens being arrested and deported, not to mention, murdered such as in Minnesota this week. This is unconsciousable! Elected officials need to get a backbone and follow the law and Constitution.
Hope all is well in your house and family.

Happy New Year! I moved on 12/31/2025 so the celebration of the passing of 2025 went mostly unnoticed! My decor is now early U-Haul cardboard. How do we accumulate so much stuff? To be fair, only 1/4 of the stuff is mine. Moved in with my daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter. Now 4 generations!
Still, great to have help and family. Ages are 80 to 2 years and oh yes, there are 3 cats! Still in Carson City Nevada.
Hope this finds everyone well and looking toward a better year.
Happy birthday! Remember those VW Bug stuffing contests after choir practice! So fun and silly.
Happy birthday! Amazing that we've entered this decade! Have a great day!
Nancy, I too had a chance to see the 'backside' of WHS. My mother, Lois Keefe, was a science teacher for many years at Woodward. She always loved the students and enjoyed teaching at which she excelled. Eventually, after I graduated, she moved to Sycamore Jr/Sr High until her retirement. Her comment was that the teachers at WHS were so very involved and cared for their students. I would help grade papers after school, help clean up after labs, and watched the large fish and one turtle that shared the huge aquarium at the front of the room. While I taught school only a limited time, she made it her life's passion.
Later, after retirement, she traveled and made it to six continents missing only Antarctica. Then traveling with me in my RV she would comment on geology, wildlife, all the wonders of our country. It was rather like traveling with David Attenbourgh! She passed away in 2010, after over 30 years of teaching. She lived well until the last and was taken suddenly, but not unexpectedly. She certainly influenced my life, especially in appreciation of our natural world and the process of learning. Thanks Mom
I too remember Ruth as a friendly, nice girl. I don't recall ever hearing any bad comments from her. Rest in gentle peace, Ruth.
Thanks Ray for the comments! I couldn't agree more. I seldom post here since the majority seem to worship the ground DJT walks on. As for the Netherland Hilton, it is a lovely example of Art Deco. Never been to Mar-a-Lago, must say, not interested. No opinion. But the Oval Office now a golden overload is truely hideous.
