Nancy was a great teacher, it was her passion and it showed in how she lived her life. She fought and initiately won a hard battle against breast cancer, and then lung cancer. Ultimately she succumbed to cancer in April 1999. She left behind her husband Steve, and two children Michael and Mary Kate. We remained close friends until the very end, I miss her everyday. My best memory of her was her helping me deflea a stray cat in a tub of soapy water, was quite the scene! (Think the cat won!)
So sorry to read your comment about Nancy. Marsha, I went through 12 years of school (Hartwell & Woodward) with Nancy. She was such a fine person, and died at such an early age. May she RIP. Thank you for the information Marsha. Larry Byar
