After CHS, David remained in Claremont except for an 11 month period in Greenbrae, Ca. and Longmeadow, Ma. David had a variety of self-employed adventuers until around 1958 when he opened Bosson Jewelers in Claremont(next to Everett's Shoe Shop on Yale Ave.) and 5 years later sold it.
After that he went to work for Balfour and Taylor Publishing Co., selling rings and yearbooks to high schools and colleges. His final venture was Bosson Insurance & Marketing, specializing in disibility coverage for small business owners.
David thoroughly enjoyed his family and his children often talk and laugh about memorable times with him.
Throughout his life after CHS, he loved Sunday touch football games at Pomona College field with Mike Gray, Ward Jones, Bill Price and various other CHS jocks. In later years, he continued those games with his 4 sons and their friends although by then, David was the only one of the "old guys" participating!
There were also two grandsons (Brian & Jeff Bosson), at the time of David's untimely and sudden death on June 6, 1980.
David & Jeanette(Streich) Bosson raised 6 children who each attended and graduated from CHS.
