Donald Theodore Sheldon, Jr.

Donald Theodore Sheldon, Jr.

It is with great sadness that I let you know that we've lost our dear classmate Ted Sheldon. Dale Price and Ted were very close & talked weekly, Ted's wife Linda contacted Dale to let him know.  I will post more when it becomes available.

There will be a graveside service for Ted Feb 9th at 10:00AM- at Oak Park Cemetery 410 Sycamore Claremont Ca, for those who are still local & would like to attend.

So sorry to hear that.  Although we did not have contact between reunions, it was fun talking with him and catching up.

Ted was a great guy and close friend when we were young. We did a lot of fun and maybe dangerous things together. So much fuel for growth! Ted was always liked and respected by his friends and he returned that friendship in many areas of support and sharing. I hope his positive ride continues! - Doug

I didn't know Ted very well in high school, but did know he was very smart & lots of fun.  In the last few years after attending our reunions Ted & I became good friends. Running into to each other in Claremont occasionally.  He would call once in a while to chat.

I was lucky enough to have lunch with Linda, Ted, Don Warzeka his wife Marilyn & Dianna Woy Madsen several years ago.  The first & last time we saw Don since graduating.

And then just this last Sept, Dianna & I, Dale & Ted met for lunch in Claremont, we had a great time reminiscing about old times. I'm so grateful that we had this time together.

Ted had some health problems in the last few years, but maintained his sense of humor & a great out look on life.  I will miss our chats, lunches, & running into to each other in town.

Rest in Peace My friend.

Dale Price asked that I post this on his behalf.

Ted was Ted

How three small words can say so much about a person.  I believe anyone who knew, liked, loved or was just a friend should understand what I'm trying to convey.  Ted was one of the friendliest, kindest, and most sincere person I've ever had the honor of knowing.

I could wax on about our long friendship and history together, but this isn't what this is about. This is a tribute to someone that deserves to be recognized for what they were and what they stood for.  Ted was a prime example of such a person.

My last comment is I, as well as many others, will miss you terribly.

May God watch over and protect you.

I will see you again!

I love you brother, now and always.

Dale
