The last time I saw Steve Madorsky I told him how he saved me on my first day of third grade in Mrs. Tangeman's class at Condit elementary. I was new to the school, as we had just moved to Claremont mid year. The class went out to recess and I had no idea what the bell system was to call kids back to class. Suddenly everyone was heading back from recess. There were several rows of buildings and I had no idea which row was mine, let alone which classroom was mine. Steve saw me heading past our classroom and grabbed me and said, "You want this class." He saved me!
