David Bowman

David M. Bowman of Taylor, died Thursday at his home following a lengthy illness. His wife is Roberta Crosby Bowman.

He was born in Newton Ransom Twp. and was the son of the late Frank and Pearl Hokrein Bowman.

He was a graduate of Abington Heights High School, class of 1974.

He had worked at AZEK Co. in Scranton.

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Taylor, the Newton Ransom Fire Co. and was a life member of Taylor Hose and Engine Co. #1.

Dave enjoyed fishing and hunting and was the first person to help anyone that he could.

Surviving are his wife, Roberta; his son, DJ; and brother, Michael and his wife Kathy of Newton Ransom Twp.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 5 p.m. from the Jacob Davis Funeral Home, 422 S. Main St., Taylor. Services will be by the Rev. Donald Roberts, pastor of the First United Methodist Church.

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until the time of service. Members of Taylor Hose and Engine #1 will be the honor guard.
