Darren Jay Krivosky
SALEM — Darren Jay Krivosky, 43, of Nutter Fort died Tuesday, August 4, 2009, following a long and courageous battle with an extended illness. He was born November 3, 1965, a son of the late Franklyn Krivosky and his devoted mother, Betty Guice Krivosky who survives in Nutter Fort.
Prior to his illness, Darren had worked in Newport News, VA, as a detail man at Casey Chevrolet. He graduated from Roosevelt-Wilson High School.
He is survived by his brothers, Daniel Krivosky and wife Nancy of Stonewood and Duane Krivosky and his wife Shelley of Newport News. Also surviving are nieces and nephews, Craig Krivosky of Berkeley Springs, Margie Lewis Wireman of Stonewood, Jerie Lewis, Ohio, David Krivosky (Tabitha), Dustin Krivosky (Christina) and their daughter, Addisyn all of Newport News.
Aunts and uncles surviving include Gaynell Lipps of Nutter Fort, Robert and Virginia Guice of Maple Lake, Roy “Pete” and Carol Guice of Bellevue, OH, Bob and Pauline Wagner, John Krivosky, Fred and Lavonne Krivosky, George and Helen Powell, and Florence Krivosky, all of Stonewood.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandmother, Loraine Guice, uncle, Walter “Bud” Guice and a special friend, Jimmy Snyder.
Darren always loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping when he was able. He will be greatly missed by his dog, Zeus, who has been his loving and faithful companion.
According to his wishes, the body will be cremated. A memorial service will be announced at a later time. Online condolences may be sent to greathousesalem@verizon.net.
