Carole V. Deering,  of Campbell, Nebraska died Saturday, November 24, 2001 at Mary Lanning Memorial Hospital in Hastings at the age of 51.  Carole was born April 16, 1950 to Chester A. and Mildred A. Bartels Deering in San Bernardina County, Loma Linda, California.  She lived in Loma Linda five months and then moved with her parents to San Bernardino where she lived 15 years.  In December, 1965 she moved with her parents to Clearfield, Utah where she graduated from high school in 1968.  In July 1974 the family moved to Campbell.

Carole was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Trinity Lutheran Women's Missionary League and the American Legion Auxiliary Unit #169, all of Campbell.

Left to mourn her passing are her parents, Chester and Mildred Deering of Campbell.   She was preceded in death by her grandparents.

Funeral services were held Tuesday, November 27, 2001 at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Campbell with Rev. William Caughey officiating.  Burial was in the Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, southwest of Campbell.
