
Richard Gordon Christensen, 69, passed away November 27, 2014 at his home. He was born July 7, 1945 in Calgary, Canada adopted by Eva Amelia (Zaugg) and Wallace Sterling Christensen.
Richard served a mission in the Vancouver Alaska mission. He married Annette Romney on December 12, 1969 in the Salt Lake City Temple.
He received a Bachelor's degree from Weber State and a Master's degree from the Univ. of Utah. He was an art teacher in the Davis County School district.
He enjoyed traveling, art and photography.
Richard is survived by his wife of almost 45 years, Annette; children, Anita (Brian) Baker, Alan R (Connie) Christensen and Laura (Paul) Mitchell; 4 grandchildren and a brother, Robert "Bob" (Laurie) Christensen. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2014 at Myers Ogden Mortuary, 845 Washington Blvd.
A gathering will be held prior to the service from 10:30 to 11 a.m.
Interment, Syracuse City Cemetery.
