LaRue Madsen A funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 28, 1995, in Fuiten-Rose Chapel in Forest Grove. A luncheon will follow in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Forest Grove, where she was a member. Mrs. Madsen died Feb. 24 of cancer at age 47. She was born Aug. 18, 1947, in Rex-burg, Idaho. Her maiden name was Pearson. She moved to Logan, Utah, and later to Clearfield, Utah, where she graduated from Clearfield High School in 1965. Later that year she married D. Brent Madsen. They lived in Idaho Falls, Idaho, until moving to Oregon in 1978. She worked as an accounting clerk for Tektronix Inc. for 16 years. Surviving in addition to her husband are her sons, Douglas T. of Portland and Brandon J. of Forest Grove; daughter, Ladine of Forest Grove; mother, Tressa Pearson of Clearfield, Utah; brother, Kent Pearson of Othel-lo, Wash.; and sisters, Lola Petersen of Bryan, Texas, Nadine Pearson of Bell-flower, Calif., Julia Thompson of Wa-silla, Alaska, Margaret Barker of Yucca, Calif., and Myrtle Lawes of Nib-ley, Utah.
