
When Cheryl Hartley was born on 16 January 1952, in Nyssa, Malheur, Oregon, United States, her father, John Alma Hartley, was 34 and her mother, Nina Randall, was 31. She died on 17 August 2013, in North Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States, at the age of 61, and was buried in North Ogden, Weber, Utah, United States.
Cheryl is the daughter of John Alma and Nina Randall Hartley. She grew up in Ontario, Oregon, Rupert, Idaho, and Clearfield, Utah. She graduated from Clearfield High School as Valedictorian of her class. She went on to attend LDS Business College.
She met the love of her life, Bruce Bingham, at a backyard picnic. They were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. Together they reared four children while contributing to the local community. She was employed for over 29 years at America First Credit Union, serving as manager for eight. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church and found joy in each new opportunity to serve. Her greatest joy was her family, and she loved traveling, camping, and playing games with them.
At the time of her death, Cheryl was survived by her husband, four children, three sisters, and ten grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Lamar and Terry Hartley.
Cheryl will be remembered for her gentle kindness, keen mind, strong work ethic, and lifelong service to others.
