What have I been doing since 1969? Are you kidding me? In some ways it seems like yesterday and it others it seems like it was someone else's life. I graduated from Eastern Michigan U in 1973, I married Bob Joynt in 1974 and taught kindergarten for 4 years in Cleveland. Our first of 2 daughters, Sara was born in 1982, we built a home in Chesterland and I ran an in-home day care for 12 years. Our 2nd daughter, Emily was born in 1988. For the last 8 years I have been working for the JCC as the costume designer for the youth theatre. I just started up a new business, Sugar Mama's". I do dessert catering, cookies & muffins. Ask me about an info flyer & I'll email it to you! I also make baby gifts (dolls, books - the zip, button, snap kind", etc... I am a brand new mother-in-law which I love, Bob & I still live in Chesterland, which I hate. We are both severely computer impaired, we can barely use a cell phone, so the fact that I am doing this is extremely impressive. I don't know if I'll go to the reunion, but I'd love to hear from anyone!

My loving remembrance of Linda started with school days and extended to our neighborhood play dates. She was always fun loving with her effervescent personality and warm smile .
No one in Mrs Coates sixth grade class @Boulevard Elementary would forget Linda’s mnemonic for the planets in solar system-My Vast Elephant Mortimer Jumped Suddenly Upon Nora’s Porch-which was adapted to her classmates by memory!
She made a difference to me with her friendship in and out of school whereby I would see her in the later years and she would always greet me with a smile and hug and share her experiences with catering and sewing .With true and heartfelt sympathy to her family
I am devistated. Linda and I were incredibly close growing up. I have no memories of childhood that don't include her. I was an intimate part of her household, and my prayers go out to her husband Bob and brother Bennett.
