Happy Birthday!
This year I created 27 illustrations for a book, 'The Mystery of the Old Lighthouse', the Adventures of Sallie Anne and Jenny Lynn on Daufuskie Island. This story incorporates Gullah culture, friendships and uncovering clues on the island without a bridge. Visit: www.daufuskieislandmysteries.com for more information.

I'm SO happy to receive my 'Signature Membership' with the Southern Watercolor Society! An artist must have 3 acceptances in their Annual National Competition, which can have up to 500 entries from 15 Southern states to achieve this award. (Only took me 13 yrs. to receive my 3rd acceptance.) Currently, I am pleased to have 10 Signature Memberships, one 'Member of Excellence' and 'Elected Member' in National/International Societies. Nothing beats doing what you love and receiving acknowledgment for your efforts!
My heartfelt condolences to Marty's family and friends. He was such a fun guy in high school whom I'm sure many will miss.
Happy, Happy Birthday dear Julie!
Happy Birthday, Helen!
