I'm pleased and proud to share that recently I attained a long-term goal: Having my watercolors exhibited in a Museum or Gallery in EVERY US state. After 15 years and over 500 exhibition, I DID IT! Secondly, my work was on display at the 'Salmagundi Club' in NYC on 5th Ave. The 'American Artists Professional League' is one of the highest regarded and oldest art associations in America. It's past members include: Louis Comfort Tiffany, Norman Rockwell, NC Wyeth, Winston Churchill and many other masters. Here's their mission: AAPL is dedicated to the advancement of traditional realism in American fine art, through the promotion of high standards of beauty, integrity and craftsmanship in painting, sculpture and the graphic arts. My work is included in their Spring Members Show, and online Auction. Currently, I have achieved Signature Membership, the highest level of accomplishment in 9 Watercolor Societies from Rhode Island to Alaska and became an Elected Member of the American Artists Professional League in 2022.
School Story:

Athletics and co-ordination have never been my strong suit, in fact, I was granted permission to skip gymnastics because the instructor was concerned I'd seriously hurt myself. Look up 'klutz' and my picture should be there!

This year I created 27 illustrations for a book, 'The Mystery of the Old Lighthouse', the Adventures of Sallie Anne and Jenny Lynn on Daufuskie Island. I'm SO happy to receive my 'Signature Membership' with the Southern Watercolor Society! An artist must have 3 acceptances in their Annual National Competition, which can have up to 500 entries from 15 Southern states to achieve this award. (Only took me 13 yrs. to receive my 3rd acceptance.) Currently, I am pleased to have 10 Signature Memberships, one 'Member of Excellence' and 'Elected Member' in National/International Societies. Nothing beats doing what you love and receiving acknowledgment for your efforts!
