Sad to see this. I remember Sandy as a gentle soul who always had a smile on his face.

My grandmother also worked for Sandy's family at the Deli.

Rest easy, Sandy

My grandmother also worked at Jack Beigelman's bakery and deli during the '60's. Nice people.

I have one very distinct memory of Sandy... from Mrs. Russo's 6th grade class at Taylor School.  In retrospect, it seems a bit ironic (and more than a tad morbid) in light of his passing, so I'm reluctant to share it... If anyone from that class is out there and sees this post, comment if you remember it as well...  roni
