Troopers Identify Two Crash Victims

The Florida Highway Patrol Thursday identified the victims of a head-on tractor-trailer crash on U.S. 27 Wednesday afternoon.

Thomas T. Kundtz, 30, of Bradenton, was killed instantly when his northbound 1977 GMC tractor slammed into Donald Ochs' southbound 1975 Mack tractor about three miles south of South Bay. Troopers did not know what caused the accident.

Ochs, 50, of Wilton Manors, was taken to Glades General Hospital in Belle Glade where he was listed in guarded condition late Thursday.
