Alison Pollock Lewin, age 59, died at home in Valencia, California on Saturday, July 27, 2013 after a 7 month battle with ovarian cancer. She was the loving mother to her 3 children, Samantha, Chad and Eric, and was the devoted wife to Steve who she lost to Leukemia in 1994. She will be missed and forever remembered by the countless lives of those she touched throughout her personal and business life.
Alison's energy was fueled by helping others. While her time with us was brief, she had three very full lives; as wife and mother, as single Mom, and most recently as a well respected Realtor. She approached each of these lives with the same love, caring, respect, tenacity, and enthusiasm as was the thread throughout her life. Her final role as Realtor gave her the vehicle to do for others on a much broader scale, helping hundreds of clients achieve the American dream of owning a home.
Alison will be especially remembered for her quick wit, her sense of humor, her trustworthiness, and the warm spirit that drew others to her.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 31, at the Mount Sinai Memorial Park, 5950 Forest Lawn Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90068.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks contributions to the Alison Lewin First Time Homebuyers Fund that will provide $1,000 grants to those purchasing their first home.
