Whenever wrestling is mentioned, Howard Schwartz often comes to mind. At Roosevelt Jr. High, I was matched up with him in (due to our "husky" builds). Anyone hearing my story of how mature (hairy and sweaty) he was, and having to grapple with him, makes everybody smile.
Howard also was a good friend and co-worker of my Uncle Eddie at the Vernor's Ginger Ale and Schmidt's Beer plant on Quincy Avenue.
