DONALD J. STEHLIK, Jr.

1954-2018

64, of Massillon, Ohio, passed away May 2, 2018 at Aultman Hospital in Canton. He was born on Feb. 24, 1954 in Canton, son of Donald J Sr. and Beverly (Tiffany) Stehlik. Donald started as a dispatcher for Lyndhurst Police Department. In the 1970's he worked with the Cleveland Hts., Police Dept., then for the Ohio Department of Mental Health Police where he retired. He worked part time with the Hills and Dale Police Dept. and for Lowes Hardware store in Massillon. Donald was a member of F.O.P. and the Blue Knights International Law Enforcement Motorcycle Club. He also enjoyed deer hunting. He will be missed by his family and friends. He is survived by his wife Mary Ellen Stehlik; three sons, Devin, Peter, and Matthew; his mother Beverly Stehlik; four brothers, Richard, Tom (Christa), Jim (Tracey), and Joe Stehlik; three sisters, Penny (Gary) Foley, Sandra (Donald) Koscelnik, Bonnie (Dave) Conley; and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father Donald Stehlik Sr. and his nephew Daniel Koscelnik. Cremation has taken place and no calling hours or services will be held.
