Born on October 5, 1954 in Euclid, Ohio, to Jeanne Steinberger and the late Robert Steinberger. He passed away at age 63 on June 7, 2018 at Hillcrest Hospital due to postoperative complications. Jay lived in Solon, OH. He graduated from Cleveland Heights High School in 1972 and attended Ohio State University. He had been an Executive Business Analyst at Sterling Software. Jay is survived by his mother, Jeanne Berner; stepfather, Jerry Berner; daughter, Rachel Steinberger; sister, Gayle Steinberger; brother-in-law, Dennis Adams; and nephews, Noah and Zachary Adams. Thoughts and memories of Jay will forever live in the hearts of his family and friends who loved him dearly. There will be a memorial reception on Monday, June 11, 2018 at Kindrich-McHugh Steinbauer Funeral Home, 33375 Bainbridge Rd, Solon, OH 44139 from 4-7PM with a remembrance service at 6PM.
