Dr. Wendy Synenberg, 64, passed away suddenly on March 28, 2018. She was a resident of Cleveland her entire life until her retirement to Punta Gorda, Fla., in 2010.

“Dr. Wendy” graduated from Cleveland Heights High School and The Ohio State University as a dental hygienist followed by dental school at Case Western Reserve University. She completed her residency at Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis, where she became a pediatric dentist.

She loved her career as a pediatric dentist where she practiced in Mentor. Wendy was so proud of the success in inspiring her many patients to have healthy and beautiful smiles.

Wendy loved golfing, reading, fine wine tastings, movies, fine dining and sun tanning to name a few. Everyone could not help noticing her beautiful smile and perpetual happiness.

She leaves behind her best friend and heartbroken husband of over 30 years, Rick Kellner, and her brother, Dr. Howard (Judy) Synenberg of Gates Mills. Wendy was predeceased by her parents, Sanford and Betty Synenberg.

Donations can be made in her name to the American Heart Association, The Temple-Tifereth Israel or the charity of your choice.
