Lewis Howard Likover Mar 23, 1947 - July 6, 2017 Died suddenly late Thursday at the age of 70. Lewie was born in Cleveland, Ohio. A graduate of the University of Chicago, Lewie had an extensive early career in social work in Toronto, Canada and in Northern California. Lewie partnered with his wife Dr. Bobbi Likover to manage her dental practice in Bolinas. He worked many years for the Bolinas Community Public Utility District, lately on special projects. Lewie served as a lieutenant for the Bolinas Volunteer Fire Department. A fiddle, guitar, and mandolin player, as well as a talented composer, Lewie played with the Celtic band, Midnight on the Water. Lewie was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, son and friend. He will be deeply missed by his wife Bobbi, sons Joshua and Kale, 97-year old mother Belle, brother Joe (Amy) Likover of San Rafael, sisters Terry (Hans) Moen of Madison, WI, Rachel (Scott deWolski) Likover of Springfield, MA, nieces and nephews and his many friends.
