Marty and I renewed our friendship 15 years after graduation. We were both married and living in Detroit.  The funny and sweet high school kid became such a wonderful man, friend and husband. He left us way too soon.

I remember Marty very well.  I am taking his memory and this space to state that I can no longer take receiving all of these memory reminders---send me the birth of grandchildren announcements instead.

I remember Marty from Hebrew School at Park Synagogue. He was a nice quiet guy with a good sense of humor. Sorry to hear that he has passed away.

I remember Marty used to eat peanut shells.  He apparently was ahead of the curve when it came to adding fiber to his diet.  I am not sure if he even bothered eating the peanut.  Despite this minor quirk, he was a nice guy with a good sense of himor.

I knew that Marty had passed a while back through family.  I lived on Altamont as he did and we were in the same sixth grade class at Boulevard. Still remember " co-starring" with him in our sixth grade French class play "Pinocchio". He was the star and I was his sidekick, Jiminy Cricket (a bit of typecasting perhaps?). Because I was quite tall at the time ( taller than he--a common sixth grade affliction) I had to perform the entire play ON MY KNEES!! ( try doing that now with arthritis!) I was in every scene with him even though I didn't have that many lines! The Cleveland Press took a photo and had me whispering in his ear--standing up and towering over him-- Pinocchio had a VERY large cricket for a friend!! I wish I still had that photo!! He was a sweet nice guy and I am sorry he is no longer with us.

I remember Martin from homeroom.  He was always laughing at something. It certainly brightened the atmosphere. So sorry to read this
