In Memory

David A. Chaitoff (Kaye)

From his wife, Michele-

It is with profound sadness and a broken heart, that I share the passing of my beloved husband, David on June 9th, 2026.

David was my best friend and husband for over 41 years. He brought so much love, laughter and kindness into the lives of everyone he knew. David had a deep love of music and could often be found singing along to his favorite songs or dancing with a huge smile that was impossible not to share. He was an avid reader and spent his time volunteering as a library assistant. He taught English as a second language. But what brought him the most joy was his love of bocce, he was known as “King Bocce.” He rarely missed a game.

As I deeply grieve, I ask for your love, good thoughts and patience during this incredibly difficult time.

A celebration of life will be held in November. Details of which, to be announced. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Heart Association or the Animal Welfare League of Charlotte County would be cherished

David and my self were close in school.  We satyed in touch for years and we spoke at the reunion.

While words may not heal you know that his memory will go on and you have happy memories.

Best of luck,
