Alan Stromberg, 59, of Easton, Pa. died Dec. 2, 2014. Devoted husband of 17 years to Lillian Stromberg; loving stepfather of Naya Ramos, Angel Ramos and Jael Ramos and step-grandfather of Elana Acosta; dear brother of Evan (Susan) Stromberg and Robin (Dr. Mark) Rood; cherished uncle of Nathan, Joshua, Adam and David Stromberg, Shaina, Michelle, Rachel and Sarah Rood; loving son of the late Seymour and Tillie Stomberg. Alan called his mother every Sunday at 9 p.m. for more than 30 years. He loved his family, students and football. He was passionate about music and played in many bands, earning him the name among his friends “Dr. of Sax.”

Alan was born Feb. 11, 1955 and graduated from Cleveland Heights High School. He earned a B.A. from Ohio University and his masters and Ph.D. from Florida State University
