EORGE ROBERT MAGERKO
AGE: 50 HOWELL
George Robert Magerko, 50, of Howell, died Monday, Oct. 11, 2010, at Ocean Medical Center, Brick. Born and raised in University Heights, Ohio, he has lived in Howell for the past 20 years. He was a golf course manager for the Monmouth County Parks System, Lincroft. An avid golfer, he began playing at the age of 12 at Shaker Heights Country Club, Ohio. George served his Internship at Fripp Island, SC.
He is survived by his companion of 20 years, Mary O. Robinson; three stepsons, Robert M., Joseph P., and Thomas W. Robinson; and six grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Donna June Magerko; and sister, Donna Gail Magerko.
Arrangements are private and under the direction of Weatherhead Young Funeral Home, Brick. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd St., New York, NY 10016.
