
Raymond F. Berardinelli, age 74, of Mentor for the past 25 years, and formerly of Richmond Heights, died Saturday, April 23, 2011, at home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 17, 1936, in Cleveland.
Mr. Berardinelli was a lifelong member of Bricklayers & Allied Craftworkers Local 5. He also owned and operated Ray Berardinelli Masonry.
Ray was an avid golfer at Blackbrook Golf Course in Mentor for many years and a loyal Cleveland Indians fan. He graduated from Collinwood High School Class of 1954.
Survivors are his wife of 29 years, Lorrie Berardinelli; children, Ray A. (Marilyn) Berardinelli of Portland, Ore., and Denise (Joe) Hazen of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Robert, Alex and Gregory Berardinelli, Brian and Seth Hazen; great-granddaughter, Kaili Duyag; brother, Robert (Sandi) Berardinelli of Hudson; former wife, Mary Ann Williams of Cincinnati; and dog, Nicky.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Anna Berardinelli.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday at Brunner Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
