Ronald Powers, 76, of Chardon, passed away Oct. 29, 2012, at Hospice House in Cleveland.
He had lived in Willowick before moving to Chardon 12 years ago.
Mr. Powers was a retired meat cutter.
He was a 1954 graduate of Collinwood High School, enjoyed model trains and woodworking projects and was a member of the Euclid Lions for 33 years.
He was the dear husband of Barbara (nee Brennan); dearest father of Denise (Kevin) O'Hearn, Lorraine (Craig) Ernst of Virginia and Kimberly (Earl) Strom of Virginia; grandfather of seven; and brother of Nancy Fortini.
Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. with a Parastas service at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 1, 2012, at Brickman Bros. Funeral Home, 37433 Euclid Ave., Willoughby.
Funeral Mass will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 2, 2012, at St. Stephen Byzantine Catholic Church, 532 Lloyd Road, Euclid. (Everyone is asked to please meet at the church.)
