rosemary, ruth berger and I MET IN CHS auditorium for orientation on our first day at CHS when we entered the ninth grade. most of the other ninth graders had gone to school in elementary and then CHS. Well, the three of us were so glad to have another new person to meet for lunch and also our efforts at finding our way around the huge building. a few years after graduation, Carl and I were lifing on gruss ave near e. 125 and st. clair. Ken had just gotten out of the Arms, and Rosemary's Mom had rented them a house on Gruss ave. what an unexpedted surprise for all of us. so, they were a part of our children'x lives for many years. our car was in for repairs when it was time for carol to be born. so, Ro stayed with Gary and Marilyn and Ken drove Carl and me to St. Ann's Hospital. Ken was a nervous wreck - all went well - so, apprriately enough, Ro and Ken were Carol's Godparents. several years later, they moved to Florida and we only saw each other at reunions or family visits but always talked on the phone when ab le. in 2006, i visited them in Fl - will insert photos when i lears how to do that and will write more then
