We have almost reached the 10yr mile stone, can anyone of us meet and do lunch to talk about Reuniting at least on a Sunday Evening for dinner. This something that we should have looked forward to, I mean alot has changed in 10yrs. We became adults... Think about what have done to make this mile stone. Can we at least agree on having either brunch or dinner for our 10yr Reunion????

May God Bless us ALL

Today is a Historical Momment for the entire world,Class of 1999 we too have also made history. I realize that our lives have changed, we never wouldn't have gotten this if it wasn't for our parents and school. I would like for those us who still remain Cleveland could at least meet brunch or dinner. Being out of High School for 10yrs. has been a life changing experience for us all and feel we should come together and unwind from busy lives to share our adult experiences with one another.

Please Everyone....

Hi Rosilyn... I agree with you. It would be nice to hook up and talk about life and the many events that we all have been through.

Your absolutely right! Things are about to change! Brunch is a great idea. I would love to get together before the reunion as well. It's difficult with me all the way in Indy though. So let's set something up.

I have to say that I agree with Monique on this one. I wasn't going to say anything, but I do think the Goodtime III is a lil sorry for us. And I thought we were going to do something during the day that the whole family (our children) could attend. I personnaly don't object to going to church, but I don't think that's a fair, all inclusive event. We may not all share the same faith if any at all, and that would eliminate people.

I appreciate all the emails and posts. That's why we have this site...for everyone to place their input. We've had several options and chose those events for specific reasons.

With that being said...that doesn't mean we can't change or revisit the events. Saturday originally had an event for the families to come together earlier in the day. With the boarding of the cruise at 6pm, it would have made it difficult for some to prepare for the night and make the boarding time.

There are other options on the table, which in turn could open up Saturday morning (early afternoon) for another event.

Although, I don't want to speak out of turn without first consulting with the other officers and committee members.

We will reassess the events and be sure to take everyones opinions into consideration.

There were just as many for the trip that are against it...and again, that is what this site is in place for.

Thank you all again!

Peter

I do agree with Tasha and Monique there is something left to be desired, and although I am not traveling far that is my anniversary weekend and if I am going to be able to convince my husband to alter our dates and change our plans than I would atleast like to have some leverage, and would like it to worth my while. You mentioned that there were many other ideas that were up in the air...is there anyway possible to post a survey to see what people would be interested in and make a final plans based upon that? That will atleast give you an idea as to what people other than those on the committee would be interested in.

02/16/09 04:52 PM #27

Peter Zurowski

I'm glad you said that Denae (Monique and Tasha). We are going to post a survey this week. I promise you that the inclusion of the other ideas can and will open other possibilities.

The main reason the boat ride was chosen was originally chosen was because of its all inclusiveness. Dinner, Music, Equipment, Boat ride, etc.

It did ease the issues of many of the committee members out of state. The downside included the decision to alleviate the earlier event in the day. (Which can also be reassessed)

I know that I seem as the voice for the committee, because of the website, but we are all reassessing the weekend events. Again, this is why this is set up to give feedback. We know that everyone shares in the interest of having a great time!

We're pretty adament about the date. We have to solidify that for those of us travelling out of town.

But thank you ladies again for all the feedback...it shows your true interest!

Adrianna,

We are taking the distance into consideration as well. The site is actually near downtown, not in East Lake. We will try and accomadate everyone as best we can.

Thanks,

PJ

Hey Peter: I just want to say thank you for all your hard work as well as the committee. It is not easy trying to plan a event like this. It is a learning curb for us all. The good news is that in another 10 years from now we get to do it all over again! LOL. By then we should have a pretty good idea on how to plan for the event so the main focus will be on setting the actual date. Regardless of the events, it will truly be a blessing just to see our classmates again! I only wish that Nate, Latrice and Javon could be there with us... Again thanks for eveything that you have done, including this website. Aloha Railroaders!
-Respectfully, Khamisi

Thanks Khamisi!

I also got your e-mail and appreciate the encouraging words. Sorry I didn't respond...Works been crazy!
I do want to reassure everyone that we are looking into other potential avenues and want to ensure that we will have a great time!

Hello everyone,

Just thought I'd write something on the board saying I hope you guys have a great reunion. Unfortunately, i will not be able to make it because of other obligations I have here in Hollywood. I will be in Cleveland next weekend finalizing some things for my wedding though. Sounds like you guys are going to have a lot of fun!!

Hey Peter did you post the renunion survey as of yet? I am going to have to agree with the others. The events scheduled leave a lot to be desired.
