R.I.P. JR. I was in Cleveland in July of 2006 for Toneya ellis party and he was there...that was the first time I saw him since graduation...but nothing had changed he was the same JR...we laughed...we joked...I went back to detroit and not too long after that I heard that he passed and I was so sad. I have two pictures in my photo book that were taken the same day one was with me and JR and the other was with me and Nate...we were standing in the gym in the exact location, posed the same way...R.I.P. to both of them!
I remember you was always smiling and being silly, you kept us laughing in American Government, and in Q.O.P meetings. People couldn't help but gravitate towards you, you were always the life of the party, I remember when I had my first beer and got drunk at that "struggling seniors" party, you wouldn't let me live that down ha ha ha...you will be missed. R.i.P. JR
J.R was very fun to be around and I remember from Patrick Henry, how he would get on everybodys' nerves in gym class.
Then there was prom when he made alot of people mad when he and I cut in front of the to take a picture and I of course, SMILED at them, but J.R. was like "It is just one picture and y'all can go on" (Do yall remember how long the line for pictures were?)
But he is resting now, and we will never forget him!
I had a couple of classes with JR. Our Junior year, we were in Ms. Harris Science class and no matter how tough the classwork was JR was always upbeat and smiling about the situation. The man had a great since of humor and he is truly missed! -Khamisi
To my homie J.R., you will forever be missed dawg. I remember hoopin' in Rec all the time, then clownin in class makin everybody laugh. He had that kinda smile that would light up a room... even if it was mostly Mr. Martin's office. You won't be forgotten.
